Job Description
General Description:
Production Control/Inventory Coordinator will provide operations support and will be responsible for efficient planning and control of logistics management. Daily tasks include handling and counting physical inventory. Purchasing of parts/materials, packaging, shipping, vendor invoicing, inventory control, customs control and stockroom management.
Principal Responsibilities:

Maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels

Classify, label and warehouse all inventory
-
Keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval

Provide reports that show inventory levels
-
Maintain a record of all transfers and disposals
-
Implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage and inventory obsolescence
-
Purchase parts/materials
-
Log all inventory purchases
-
Complete Physical Inventory Count - Reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count
-
Conscientious of costs associated with maintaining inventory
-
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
-
3 years' experience in manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience desired

3 years planning or inventory control experience
-
Must be able to lift 10 pounds

Excel Proficient
-
Employee will be required to position self to move or transport inventory/parts/materials. May be in stationary positions for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors and team members on a regular basis. Must be able to inspect and identify small items correctly.
